Your salad looks so yummy- the colors really pop and make me want to pull up a chair with a fork!
We grew strawberries at our last home...we had a squirrel who loved them too. One day as I sat visiting with a girlfriend in our porch, I saw our friend Mr. Squirrel grab a strawberry, he saw me and paniced...he made a jump from the strawberry bed...to what he thought was the sidewalk, but ended up in the pool. My girlfriend was screaming, but I ran out and with the pool leaf scooper, scooped out my wet friend, he was paddling, but not very well. He welcomed my help out of the pool, but didn't stop for a hug or anything. I thought that was the last I had seen of him, as I wasn't sure how the chlorine would sit in his wee little body...but come the next day-his hunger for another strawberry talked him out of his fear and he was back for another bite. To which I was glad, I love strawberry loving squirrels!
Hi Stacy! Thanks so much for your sweet comment; it ministered to me. I'm trying to be aware all day what I'm thinking, meditating on!
Your salad is making me HUNGRY!! i read some of your other posts and I have to say I am crushed that you would leave the Reeses Peanut Butter family for Snickers. I just don't get that.
Stacy, We picked strawberries at a friend's farm this weekend and made gobs and gobs of jam... your salad inspired me. We also had strawberries doused with vanilla yogurt... eaten from a wine glass with an ice cream spoon. =) Sometimes it's all about the packaging! Blessings, Annie
