Two adoption stories

Amazing.

That's all I can say about this adoption story.

And this one? I was bawling as I read the conclusion to this story I began reading a few weeks ago... don't miss it.

  2. Thanks for stopping by my blog via Jodi. :) I so enjoyed reading your story especially the adoption side. My sis-in-heart and her husband are now just waiting for the phone call. So hard to be patient! Blessings!

  6. I'm crying too!

I can't help but think of a conversation I had not long ago.
My adopted son Nick (7)made a profound observation several days ago. He said, "Mom, adoption is really sad and really happy, isn't it?"
I wrapped him in my arms and then pushing him back enough that we could look into each others eyes, I told him, "Yes, it is. There is a special word for that feeling, it is called bittersweet, it is sad and it is happy." Then we hugged and told each other "I love you".
