Isaac (3): What do you want to be?
Isaias (2): A boy.
Isaac (3): Nooo. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Isaias (2): A bad guy.
Mama: No you don't. You don't want to be a bad guy.
Isaac (3): You can be a rocket ship or a swimmer. What do you want to be?
Isaias (2): A lion.

Oh, so sweet. :) My son David, 6, told me a couple of weeks ago that he always used to think he'd like to be fireworks when he grew up, but now he realizes that people can't be fireworks. (???)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the things that go on in their minds! It's so good that you're recording them!
ReplyDeleteRebeca
That's funny.
ReplyDeleteBad guy is one of Ethan's favorite words lately. Today he was mad that I wasn't answering him quickly enough so he yells (at me!) "you bad guy!"
Very naughty.

hahahahaahah! How cute! Lion? Greetings from us all
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love listening to conversations between kids.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it!!!
ReplyDeleteIsaias, we think you will make a GREAT lion!!!!!
Just passing by and I have a similar story. When my 6 yo asked my 4 yo what she wanted to be when she grew up, 4 yo answered, "A dolphin"!!
ReplyDeleteSo, so cute Stacy! :) Nothing quite like dreaming to be the king of the jungle!
ReplyDeleteEach year I have each of my kids write down what they want to be when they grow up. I love to see how it changes. One time Jenna told me she just wants to "grow up and be a normal person" like me and her daddy. I guess normal is relative. :)
That is so adorable. What a great topic for two brothers to explore. When people ask my 4 year old what he wants to be he says "A T-Rex and a Bug Scientist". He has been saying that for about a year...so he might actually be serious :o)
ReplyDeleteToo cute!!
ReplyDeleteIts obvious.... he is ALL boy!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is so encouraging, Thank You!
Carrie.
