Prepped and ready to go!

{on the menu for breakfast: Yogurt Coffee Cake, requested by Ella}

Seriously? We get to do this?

...Eat some coffee cake and drink some tea as we kick off our school year? Yummy fall-scented candles will be lit, and I'll be hearing the happy chatter of my favorite people in the whole world!

Ah... I can't wait!

  1. Our official day started today. It was a good day. I was thinking the same thing...I get to do this? Even with all it's hardships this past year it is such a gift!

    I have so wanted to share our plans but just haven't gotten around to it. I am just having fun with my kids.

    Happy First day friends! And how about the yogurt coffee cake recipe when you get a chance. That sounds too yummy.

  3. That is exactly how I feel! So blessed that I get to do this. Looking forward to learning WITH them. Together. Building our relationships and their character as we learn,learn, learn! I love that.

    We don't have coffee cake or candles or anything like that but we have the same sort of looking forward to what we get to accomplish together feeling. It is a simple pleasure really.

    Those letter cards above your white board are SO COOL!!!!
