Thanksgiving journal 2007

Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Psalm 100: 4-5

  2. Stacy, I love this idea. We have done the tree thing, except I punch out leaves and we write out thankful notes on those. I have saved the leaves in years past, but I really like the idea of the thankful journal.

    Thanks for sharing.

  5. Stacy,
    I love the idea of attaching a journal/scrapbooking tradition to a specific holiday with a specific purpose. This is one of the things that I would like to do "someday"!

  6. These pages look SO good. Great job not only planning to do it, but actually getting it done! I am impressed.
    Now, you just need to make a copy for me 'cause I want these cute pictures of your family!

  7. I tried to zoom in and read all your little scribbles...but did not succeed...so I guess I will have to read your latest entries "in person" the next time I am in the area!!

    If I had such a journal going (which I SOOOO wish I did) there would certainly be a picture of your family in it!! :)

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  10. Stacy, I came across your blog via Renee's and have checked in a few times. Last month I dug deep to your family traditions. I've been sharing this Thanksgiving journal with many and I love the scrapbook aspect of it as well. I went to Bob LePine's talk a couple weeks ago and I ended up winning the Family Pack which included a Thanksgiving book written by Barbara Rainey. I used this last week and had all family members write in it. Some wanted to grumble but I just encouraged we have so much to be thankful for and would love to have them write it down in their handwritting. Thanks for encouraging us!
